Hoodoo Gurus recently announced their return to Brazil for five shows after 25 years. The tour, produced by Chantilly Produções , is part of the promotion for their album Chariots of the Gods (2022).

The performances will take place in April on the 12th in São Paulo (Vibra), the 13th in Porto Alegre (Auditório Araújo Vianna), the 14th in Rio de Janeiro (Qualistage), the 15th in Curitiba (White Hall Jockey Eventos), and the 19th in Florianópolis (John Bull). Tickets are already available .

“Hoodoo Gurus has a special affection for Brazil and, since last year when they released their tenth album, they started thinking about the possibility of returning to the country. Certainly, hits like ' Come Anytime ' and ' 1000 Miles Away ', acclaimed by Brazilians, will be present at the shows here,” declared manager Ricardo Chantilly in a press release.

The Australian band, celebrating 40 years in the business, is strongly associated with the surf music . In partnership with the Brazilian Surfing Confederation, the public, by donating any surfing accessory, can acquire the "Solidarity Surfer" ticket, which is valid for half-price admission.

Furthermore, students from the Greater São Paulo Surf Association and the Rocinha Surf Association will be invited to attend the performances in the capitals of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, and the organizations will receive all the equipment collected.

“We want to give surfers and fans of the alternative rock band the opportunity to be with their idols again. Anyone attending any of the shows will also be able to see the Giant Waves of Nazaré from the 2023 season, which will be shown on the screens before the band takes the stage. The idea is for fans to experience this spectacle in a unique and accessible way,” Ricardo added.
