Following the release of the single “The Divide” , the São Paulo-based band Hollowmind , a veteran progressive heavy metal band, is today, the 10th, previewing another song from their upcoming EP, Inside An Extended Play , which arrives on the 17th; this is the single “The Social Meteor”.
Speaking about the song, the band's bassist and vocalist Rob Gutierrez explained: "'The Social Meteor' was the first song we wrote for Hollowmind's comeback, and it was made during the beginning of the pandemic." The track talks about the daily life of isolation and reflects the difficulty of the first few months.
The trio, completed by Ale Silveira on guitars and Felipe Gomes on drums, also took the opportunity to announce the title of their new EP: Inside An Extended Play . The project will include “The Social Meteor” (in an extended version), the previous single “The Divide”, among other unreleased songs from the band. Produced by Val Santos ( Toyshop , ex- Viper ), the EP will be released on November 17th via Wikimetal Music.
