Historic Queen concerts in Brazil become a book with never-before-seen photos and interviews.

The author states that the band's performances changed the rock concert market in the country.

Queen 's historic shows here in the 1980s.

The phenomenon was immortalized in the memory of fans around the world due to the magnitude of the performances and became a special book, celebrating 40 years since the band's first performance in the country, at Morumbi Stadium in 1981, and later at the first Rock In Rio in history, in 1985.

The book *Queen in Brazil, 40 Years Later, the Magic Continues* , published by Lisbela Editora, was conceived by William Nilsen, founder of the first Queen fan club in Latin America. With 188 pages and a collector's edition finish, the book features detailed information about the English quartet's two visits to the country, unpublished photos, interviews with producers, crew members, and fan accounts. The work has a preface by Tim Staffel , former vocalist and co-founder of Smile , the band that gave rise to Queen.

“I felt this was the right time to tell the stories behind those performances that changed show business in our country. This incredible band contributed greatly to opening the doors to major rock concerts in Brazil. I can say that, after their visits, other successful groups followed suit and started performing here,” explains the author. “I’ve been a Queen fanatic since 1974. I had the privilege of accompanying the band on their tours in our country in the 80s. During this period, Freddie Mercury had a unique style of captivating crowds. I knew I was experiencing firsthand moments that would forever mark the history of rock and roll.”

The copies are available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish on the project's official website. Access it here .
