Scorpions released another single from the album Rock Believer , this time as a surprise for fans. The song "The Shining Of Your Soul" arrived on the night of last Thursday, the 17th.
Just as "Seventh Sun" proved that the band still knows how to make rock like they used to , the new track maintains a high level of quality and fulfills the Germans' promise to return to their roots with a heavier album, inspired by the albums released by Scorpions in the 1980s.
While the album released last week is darker and heavier, "The Shining Of Your Soul" showcases the band's more melodic side, featuring groove and impressive solos.
In the YouTube comments, several fans expressed approval of the song's "nostalgic" sound. "I have a feeling the new album is going to be the best since the 1980s," commented one Brazilian.
Rock Believer , the band's nineteenth studio album and first of new material since Return to Forever (2015), will be released on February 25th. See cover art and tracklist here .
