Hellyeah's new album, Welcome Home , already has a release date.
Hellyeah has announced their first new album since the death of drummer Vinnie Paul . Welcome Home will be released on September 27th, and a video for the title track will be released this Friday, the 17th .
The death of Vinnie Paul deeply affected the metal world, marking the end of the Abbott brothers' time in Pantera . Following the celebration of Vinnie's life this weekend, the band announced an album featuring drummer Roy Mayorga from Stone Sour .
“Even though Vinnie Paul is obviously irreplaceable, we can’t stop touring. As easy as it is to say we’re not going on the road, we need to,” said bassist Kyle Sanders .
“Vinnie would be extremely disappointed if we didn’t properly promote the album. He would be angry with us. We did so much to finish the album and then leave it there gathering dust on the shelf doesn’t make sense. We know that.”
