“333” will be part of Hellyeah’s upcoming album, which features Vinnie Paul on drums
Metal supergroup Hellyeah has revealed a devastating new track. “333” will be on the band’s upcoming, as-yet-untitled album, which will feature Vinnie Paul on drums. The release is expected on June 28th.
In a statement, vocalist Chad Gray said that Paul came up with the idea for “333.” “That song was his baby. It belonged to him and came from him,” he said. “Unfortunately, when I was ready to write the lyrics, it was after Vinnie died. The lyrics embrace and acknowledge the feelings that most metal fans have. Being treated as outcasts and judged by the way they look or dress. It’s a reminder to all metal fans that, no matter what happens, they will always have a place in the metal community. That being said… Welcome to the family!”
