This will be the last album to be recorded with drummer Vinnie Paul, who passed away in 2018

Hellyeah released a video on their social media indicating that the band is in the studio recording a new album. The LP will be the last work with drummer Vinnie Paul , who passed away in June 2018 at the age of 54 .

Vinnie Paul died from dilated cardiomyopathy – enlargement of the heart ventricles, which reduces blood pumping – as well as severe coronary artery disease.

Shortly before his death, the drummer had recorded his part for Hellyeah's new album at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada, the same location as its predecessors, Unden!able (2016) and Blood For Blood (2014).

In January 2018, Vinnie Paul confirmed that the band was almost halfway through recording and that it was "incredible." The new album still doesn't have a title or release date.
