After Megadeth cancelled their shows in Brazil, Helloween joined the festival lineup.

It's official: Helloween will replace Megadeth at Rock In Rio and Rockfest. Last week, the American band had to cancel several shows, including those in Brazil, when Dave Mustaine was diagnosed with throat cancer.

At the event in Rio de Janeiro, the band will perform on October 4th, Metal Day. On the same day, Iron Maiden, Scorpions, Sepultura, Slayer , and other groups will also perform.

At Rockfest in São Paulo, the show takes place on September 21st at Allianz Parque. They will perform alongside Scorpions, Whitesnake, Europe, and Armored Dawn . Tickets already purchased remain valid; to buy new ones, simply click here .
