The band will be performing in Brazil this month
Helloween guitarist Kai Hansen confirmed the use of playback at the band's first reunion show .
In an interview with Jump Metal , Kai reveals that Michael Kiske was ill and having difficulty hitting some notes. Considering the vocalist's well-being and their commitment to the fans, they decided to use playback in some parts.
Kai says that Michael is feeling better and should recover soon, as he is undergoing treatment with antibiotics prescribed by his doctor.
Meanwhile, the band's shows will undergo some changes, mainly in their setlist, which will be adapted so Kiske can perform without jeopardizing his work.
The show took place in Monterrey, Mexico on October 19th. The band will perform in Brazil on the 28th and 29th of this month.
