This week, The Heavy Group , the organizers of the Heavy Music Awards , announced the bands and artists who are finalists for the 2025 edition of the awards dedicated to heavy music.
The event, which has been held annually since 2017, will take place at the O2 Forum Kentish Town , a famous concert venue in London. The awards ceremony will be held on August 21st, with nominees in 10 separate categories. The nominees were chosen through public voting.
This year, Bring Me the Horizon , Knocked Loose , and Linkin Park lead the list of most nominated artists, with three nominations each. The trio is also competing for the biggest award of the night: Album of the Year.
The group led by Oliver Sykes is also in contention for the awards for best UK artist and best live performance by a British artist.
Linkin Park, following the addition of vocalist Emily Armstrong , is vying for awards in the categories of best international artist and best album cover. In these categories, Linkin Park faces off against the also nominated Knocked Loose.
