A study by TickPick concluded that heavy metal fans are more likely to have sexual experiences in a car than fans of other music styles.
According to the study presented, 75% of heavy metal fans have had sexual encounters inside a vehicle. The overall average is 65%.
Metal fans outnumbered fans of hip-hop, rap, R&B, and other genres.
Interestingly, heavy metal isn't the preferred musical genre for dates. The smooth sound of R&B came in first place among survey participants, with 27% of preferences. Heavy metal only garnered 12.6%.
The winning song for those moments in the car is "Let's Get It On" by Marvin Gaye . "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails came in third place.
Heavy metal fans came in last place in the "who uses turn signals the most" category. However, in the "aggressive driving" category, metal fans fared well, though they were far from the top spots. Rap fans were selected as the most aggressive.
The survey was conducted with 958 people who drive regularly. 512 of the participants were men, while 445 were women. And 1 person did not want to identify their gender.
