The Devil You Know , the only album by the group Heaven & Hell is coming to the Brazilian market . Originally released in 2009, the project reunited Black Sabbath Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler with former members Ronnie James Dio and Vinny Appice, reviving the Black Sabbath lineup from the Mob Rules (1981-1982).
The project emerged in 2007, a time when Black Sabbath had just been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and Ozzy Osbourne was on a solo tour. Iommi called on Geezer, Dio, and Vinny to initially record just three new songs for the compilation *The Dio Years *. Encouraged by the reception of the three songs, they decided to enter the studio in 2009 and record the first Heaven & Hell album (alluding to Dio's first album with Sabbath, of the same name). This would be Ronnie James Dio's last studio album, as he passed away the following year.
The re-release is part of a partnership between Wikimetal and OPorto da Música, which is bringing to the Brazilian market several classic rock and heavy metal titles that were previously unavailable, and even some that had never been released in the country. Albums from bands such as Metal Church, Overkill, Ratt, and many more have already been released, with more albums expected to arrive in stores each month.
The album is being re-released in a special edition with a slipcase, and is already available for sale in major stores and online via Wikimetal Store .
