Australian band In Hearts Wake has released a live video for the track “Frequency” from the album Ark .
In the song, they talk about the importance of communicating and creating a connection between us. The video complements this idea, beginning with a powerful message:
Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean, there is a whale that sings at a higher 'frequency' than the others. As a result, it cannot communicate with the rest of the pod.
What would life be like if no one could hear you?
Then, the video takes off with clips from live performances by the band, featuring the refrain “What’s your frequency? (Somebody save me) / I’m begging, please don’t end me / I desperately need you (why can’t you hear me?)”
