Hearing aid company Asius Technologies told Team Rock that Brian Johnson could return to the stage in six months. The company's chief scientist, Stephen Ambrose, who met with Brian Johnson in June, said:
“I wouldn’t be surprised if we have something for Brian that he can use on stage without any risk to his hearing in six months, twelve at the most. I’m going to try to accelerate the development of the technology, and then I need permission from Brian’s doctors to test the prototype on him. We need to know if he can test it without further damaging his hearing. And I think those tests should be very successful.”.
Johnson tested the device created by Asius Technologies in June and stated that it works, but that the device would still need to be miniaturized.
