The headbanger and singer Paavo Laapotti has been surprising Finnish audiences with his reinterpretations of heavy metal songs on the show The Voice of Finland.
Tenacious D' s "Master Exploder" in one of the show's stages , and more recently surprised with a cover of Slipknot ." In both performances, the musician brought a heavy metal energy that is not usually seen on shows like this, which tend to focus on creating pop stars.
The musician, in addition to performing the songs and doing a great job, also sent a video of his performance of "Master Exploder" to Kyle Gass , the guitarist of Tenacious D, and, according to him, they were invited to Los Angeles to perform with Gass in his other project, Trainwreck . Laapotti is expected to perform at two of the group's shows.
The Voice of Finland works exactly like The Voice Brasil. Both programs are versions of The Voice of Holland , the original which premiered in 2010. The Voice of Finland is currently in its 11th season.
