In a thank-you note for birthday wishes, Paramore , Hayley Williams, revealed that she plans to go on tour to promote the albums Petals For Armor (2020) and Flowers For Vases / Rests (2021).

According to Hayley, the series of shows that was originally scheduled for May 2020 — but didn't happen due to the pandemic — may take place in 2025.

"I'm going to try, finally, to do some shows next year that would have happened almost five years ago. That is, if the world doesn't stop before then," the singer assured.

Tour Postponed

In May 2020, Hayley Williams debuted her first solo album, Petals For Armor , and planned to promote it with a tour that would cover North America, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

At the time, the singer published an open letter to fans regarding the tour announcement.

“Wow, I’m going on tour. Me. It’s not Paramore, and it’s actually a little scary. But if I know anything, it’s that there’s no safer place (besides being at home with my dog) than being in a room, on a stage, in front of the people I grew up singing at the top of my lungs for. There was a time when I thought I wouldn’t do a Petals for Armor . What a joke. I need to do it.”

And she continued: “This is a completely new adventure. It’s important to embark on something new from time to time, just to show yourself that you are capable. I embrace the discomfort and the joy and I’m ready to be present in this. The first series of shows will be hot, sweaty and intimate.”

However, plans to hold the series of solo performances were postponed due to the declaration of the coronavirus pandemic.

The following year, Williams released her second and — until then, last — studio album, the intimate Flowers For Vases / Descansos (2021).
