Hatefall Tales of Midnight on October 13th .
The work features conceptual songs that explore themes of fantasy and horror, some inspired by books and others created by the band.
Composed of Hélio Funes on vocals, George Pinhal and Gabriel Pinhal on guitars, Johanes Godoi on bass and Wagner Leite on drums, Hatefall has many influences from the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal movement and deals with themes of existentialism and overcoming adversity.
Regarding the album, the vocalist commented: “The idea throughout was to break away from stereotypes and create something totally unique, without fear of innovating in the instrumentation. As usual, we also brought in elements of classical music and, at certain points in the album, British poetry, without forgetting elements from our Brazil, such as folkloric elements.”
In addition to having already performed throughout Brazil, they played at the Planeta Rock festival in São José do Rio Preto, and opened for Massacration in Curitiba.
Guitarist George Pinhal commented on the new release: “The album launch is being planned to be epic. We are scheduling shows and exclusive promotional material for the new album. We are counting on the fans' participation in this new phase.”
The production of Tales of Midnight was handled by the band themselves, along with Edu Machado , while the mixing and mastering were done by André Rangel .
