He hates Ghost and doesn't hide it? Tobias Forge thinks that's good: "Keep talking."

Ghost's frontman explained that even the haters can help the band grow.

Ghost is one of the most polarizing bands in rock and metal, the kind you either love or hate, with no middle ground. And in the internet age, those who hate have a lot of freedom to talk about all the reasons why the band led by Tobias Forge is bad, but that doesn't faze the artist.

In a recent interview with the Elliot In The Morning (via Blabbermouth ), the vocalist commented on the difficulty some people have in classifying Ghost's sound. "That's not a problem for me, actually. I have no problem whatsoever with people who have a problem [with the band]," he said.

Tobias Forge prefers to have a “super positive” and “glass half full” perspective, so he tries to analyze how the haters' chatter has positive impacts on Ghost. “Most things today are measured by activity, whether on Spotify or online, unlike 30 years ago when everything was about sales (...). Today everything is about content and activity,” he pointed out. “One thing people [do] – especially those who aren't talking about how good we are, but how bad we are – is that it brings more activity. So it's a good thing (laughs). So keep talking. It's all good.”
