The Swedish hardcore band Superstar is coming to Brazil for the first time in their career in October 2023. Produced by Dark Dimensions , the group's tour in the country will include São Paulo, Paraná, and Minas Gerais.
Currently celebrating 25 years in the business, Hardcore Superstar makes its debut in the country with a tour promoting its latest studio album, Abrakadabra (2022), the successor to You Can't Kill My Rock and Roll (2018).
Throughout their extensive discography, totaling 11 studio albums released, a collection of number 1 singles on North American radio and nominations for the Swedish Grammy Awards, the Gothenburg quartet blends hard rock, sleaze rock and glam metal.
Hardcore Superstar's shows in Brazil will take place in São Paulo (October 12th) at Carioca Club, in Curitiba (October 13th) at Jokers, and in Belo Horizonte (October 14th) at Mister Rock. The Brazilian band Electric Gypsy will accompany the entire tour, which will feature other national acts such as Sioux66 , Inluzt , and Nite Stinger , depending on the city. Tickets are already on sale online (see more details at the end of this article).
In addition to Brazil, the band will also be touring other Latin American countries, with confirmed shows in Mexico, Chile, and Argentina, also in October.
Currently, Hardcore Superstar consists of original members Joakim Berg (vocals) and Martin Sandvik (bass), who have been with the band since its formation in 1997, along with Vic Zino (guitar) and Adde Andreasson (drums).
