Hammerfall has released the single “The End Justifies” with an official music video. The single will be part of the band's upcoming album, Avenge The Fallen , which will be released on August 9th by Nuclear Blast Records.
The quintet formed by guitarist Oscar Dronjak , vocalist Joacim Cans , bassist Fredrik Larsson , guitarist Pontus Norgen , and drummer David Wallin is back with their thirteenth album, which features nine new tracks.
Vocalist Joacim Cans comments (via Blabbermouth ): “This is our 13th album. How do you still remain relevant after 13 albums? It’s very similar to the opening line of the song 'Avenge The Fallen': 'What is the worst, be the one who died, or be the one who survived.' Think about it, because it’s a difficult question.”
He continues: “A few good songs don’t make a strong album. A strong album comes from an album full of great songs, and that’s what we’re delivering with Avenge The Fallen .”
In April, the band released the first single and video from their new album, “Hail To The King” .
