Swedish band Hammerfall returns to Belo Horizonte with their Freedom World Crusade South America 2025 . The show takes place on November 9th at Mister Rock (Av. Tereza Cristina, 295 – Prado).
The group was formed in 1993 in Gothenburg and helped reignite the flame of power metal in the 1990s. Since then, the quintet has kept the genre's tradition alive with landmark albums such as Glory to the Brave (1997), Legacy of Kings (1998), and Crimson Thunder (2002). Furthermore, Hammerfall remains one of the most influential bands in the genre worldwide.
The current lineup features Oscar Dronjak (guitar), Joacim Cans (vocals), Pontus Norgren (guitar), Fredrik Larsson (bass), and David Wallin (drums). With this, the group maintains its classic essence but adds the experience accumulated over three decades of their career.
With over thirty years on the road, Hammerfall delivers epic melodies, fast riffs, and powerful choruses . These characteristics appear in anthems like "Hearts on Fire," "Blood Bound," and "Let the Hammer Fall." Furthermore, the new album Avenge the Fallen (2024) adds freshness to their repertoire and reinforces the band's creative force.
Tour celebrates the legacy of Swedish metal.
For the show in Belo Horizonte, the opening act will be Throw Me to the Wolves , a rising band from São Paulo. Therefore, the audience can expect an intense night from beginning to end, full of heaviness and energy.
