Janet Jackson, Roxy Music, Def Leppard, and The Zombies were also nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has revealed the nominees for the 2019 edition. Radiohead , The Cure , and Stevie Nicks are the top nominees. Alongside them are Def Leppard , Janet Jackson , Roxy Music , and The Zombies .
Rage Against the Machine, Devo, Kraftwerk, MC5, Rufus and Chaka Khan , and Todd Rundgren were on the list of potential nominees. But they will have to wait another year for possible inclusion in the Rock Hall of Fame.
A committee of 1,000 artists, historians, and music industry members, as well as fans, voted for the nominees. To be included on the list, a band must have released its first album at least 25 years ago.
The awards ceremony will take place on March 29th in the USA.
