This Friday, the 29th, Halestorm released an acoustic version of their most recent single, "The Steeple". The new format begins with cleaner, less heavy vocals from Lzzy Hale , but ends with much of the raspiness and aggression that are the vocalist's trademark.

“The Steeple (Acoustic)” arrives as a countdown to Halestorm’s new album, Back From The Dead , which will be released next Friday, May 6th. This is the band’s fifth studio album and their first since the acclaimed Vicious (2018), full of themes from the female universe told in a transgressive and powerful way.

The concept for Back From The Dead was, as expected, greatly affected by the times of isolation and growing uncertainty that came with the 2020 pandemic. In an interview , Lzzy Hale said she drew inspiration from stories of "survival" and people "living life."
