Halestorm released their new single “Rain Your Blood On Me” this Friday, the 11th. The track is part of their new album Everest . Produced by Grammy Dave Cobb , Everest will be released on August 8th by Atlantic Records .
“Rain Your Blood On Me” follows “Darkness Always Wins” and the title track “Everest” Grammy -winning band’s new album .
Vocalist Lzzy Hale commented on the track: "'Rain Your Blood On Me' is our ode to women. The crawling, the climbing, the clenching of fists, the wailing of sirens, the breaking of glass — this is our battle cry."
“As a woman, surrounded by my allies Arejay , Joe, and Josh , we poured everything we’ve fought for up to this point into this work. The music began with stomping feet at 3 a.m., with a chant of ‘Rain Your Blood On Me.’ We weren’t even sure what that title meant at that moment, as we watched the sky break through the mysterious Spanish moss in Savannah, Georgia. But we knew it was right. By 11:30 a.m., the poem I wrote seemed to take shape like a story waiting to be told. We may not win the war while we’re alive, but we can pass the torch to our daughters so they can light the way.”
Currently, the band has begun touring Europe as the opening act for Iron Maiden . Next, they will return to the US for a tour with Volbeat . In September, they will begin the North American nEVEREST with Lindsey Stirling and Apocalyptica .

Black Sabbath 's farewell show last Saturday, July 5th, at Villa Park in Birmingham, UK. The band played "Love Bites (So Do I)" and a cover of Ozzy Osbourne .
Lzzy Hale, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of the band Halestorm , was the only woman to perform at the event.
