Halestorm recorded a piano version of "Black Vultures" in the studio, creating an acoustic reinterpretation of the song from their album Vicious , released in July 2018.
At the beginning of the video, singer Lzzy Hal talks about the theme of the song: “I wrote about survival. Not basic survival, but about surviving your daily struggles and that darkness that accompanies you.”
She further explained the vulture metaphor in the lyrics: "It's about not letting those vultures affect you and discourage you." Watch the video below.
