One of the most anticipated acts at Monsters of Rock 2026, Halestorm finally made their long-awaited return to Brazil after nine years. Led by the charismatic and powerful vocalist and guitarist Lzzy Hale, the band stood out for being the only act at this edition to feature a female member, a fact that also occurred at Back To The Beginning, the historic farewell show of Black Sabbath andOzzy Osbourne, held in July 2025.
In a performance that will surely be remembered as one of the best of the festival, the American group proved in every possible way why they are one of the biggest names in rock today. Lzzy's voice stands out uniquely and draws attention for its technique and range, especially with her powerful screams in songs like "I Miss The Misery" and "I Am The Fire," which drove the audience wild.
In addition to that, the band's lineup is perfectly complemented by the excellent musicians Josh Smith (bass) and JoeHottinger (guitar), as well as drummer Arejay — the vocalist's younger brother — who delivered one of the best moments of the performance by performing a solo with a huge pair of drumsticks.
Another highlight of the show was the message conveyed by Lzzy in the powerful and empowering track "Like a Woman Can," which moved a large part of the female audience present at the festival and showed a totally necessary and important side: women should and can be wherever they want to be.
Also featuring tracks from the excellent Everest (2025), Halestorm proved that they don't need to wait almost a decade again to return to Brazil, since the band is very popular here, has a gigantic fan base and will always be very well received by several generations of rock fans.

A Journalism student and fan of Rock, especially Heavy Metal, he likes bands such as Judas Priest, Black Sabbath, and particularly Iron Maiden, a band he has seen three times, has followed since he was 12, and dreams of seeing a show in London. His first contact with heavy music came playing Guitar Hero, and he never stopped. He has always enjoyed writing and music is one of his passions. Within the genre, he considers Steve Harris, Bruce Dickinson, Rob Halford, and Ozzy Osbourne his idols.
