Halestorm released their new single "The Steeple" this Friday, the 4th, the second from their upcoming album, Back From The Dead , the band's fifth studio album. The album will be released on May 6th.
“The Steeple” is a powerful song and came with a video, which you can watch below. The track follows the release of the album's title track, which was released last year, before the group officially confirmed the album's release.
In a statement about the album, Lzzy Hale , the band's vocalist, said that she began writing for the album three months before the COVID-19 pandemic began. "After we went into quarantine and stopped performing, I fell into a very dark place and went through an identity crisis."
“This album is the story of how I got myself out of that situation. It’s a journey through mental health, loss of control, survival, redemption, rediscovery, and still maintaining faith in humanity,” she confessed.
