Last Thursday, the 20th, guitarist Joe Hottinger Halestorm 's tour bus caught fire in the early hours of the morning. The band members were sleeping in a hotel at the time of the fire and no one was injured.

In his Instagram , Hottinger expressed his gratitude to the fire department, which responded to the scene of the fire and extinguished it. The guitarist also thanked the band's security guard, Steve , who did everything possible to save the guitars and the musicians' luggage.

“We lost some things, but they’re just things,” Hottinger wrote. “The investigator doesn’t know what started the fire, but it began in the hallway where the beds were. What matters is that nobody was hurt. The best part is that tonight we’re going to play! I’m looking forward to playing our music and forgetting about things catching fire.”

Halestorm vocalist Lzzy Hale also commented on the accident via Twitter , reassuring everyone that they were okay, but confessing to being shaken. Shortly after, the singer tried to lighten the mood by making a joke about the song title "I Am The Fire." Hale wrote: "When you sing 'I am the fire' and the Universe takes it literally."
