Last Wednesday, the 18th, a heavy hailstorm hit Curitiba, causing significant damage to the Pedreira Paulo Leminski, where the bands Europe , Scorpions , and Whitesnake .
A video shared by David Coverdale of Whitesnake during the Scorpions show shows the stage during the heavy rain that came with hail and strong winds. "My God, the craziest storm just arrived! Hope we can play," he wrote in the caption. The bands had to delay their sets until the crew cleared them to resume the performance.
Moments later, Whitesnake took to the stage and performed as normal, despite the fans and the band's equipment getting soaked. Many of the fans in the audience shared images on social media showing that the rain didn't spoil the event.
