Gus G. , from Firewind , has a new solo single out. In the music video for "Exosphere," the former Ozzy Osbourne performs solos in a hypnotic, intergalactic setting. The track features Vincent Velazco on drums and Dennis Ward on bass and mixing.

The track was composed during the pandemic and is expected to be part of Gus's next project. “When the pandemic hit us in early 2020, all of Firewind's world tour plans were cancelled. I was stuck at home for a whole year not knowing what the future held,” he said. “I slowly started putting new riffs and ideas on my computer and before I knew it, I had gathered enough material for a new album.”.

The new song shows the direction of the new project, which should be completely instrumental. "With a new reality ahead, I started developing the new solo project and this time I decided to let my guitar be the voice, instead of having a singer or special guests," the musician continued.

In “Exosphere,” one of the first tracks created by the artist in isolation, Gus G uses a seven-string guitar for the first time in the studio, aiming to “add some new elements to my music,” but without losing the style for which he is known.
