It's official! Guns N' Roses are confirmed as headliners for Rock In Rio 2022.
The news comes after a series of rumors and speculations Axl Rose 's group was originally scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza Brazil in 2020, which was postponed due to the pandemic and suffered changes to the lineup.
The Guns N' Roses show on the World Stage at Rock In Rio takes place on Thursday, September 8th. The festival also has performances scheduled for September 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th, and 11th, 2022, with Iron Maiden , Megadeth , Dream Theater , and Sepultura confirmed for the first day of the event.
Roberto Medina , the creator of Rock in Rio, had promised in an interview that he would announce three more rock acts. With Guns N' Roses joining the lineup for the mega-festival in Rio, Maneskin is also confirmed for the event.
