Guns N' Roses show in Costa Rica, scheduled for March 18th, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled due to requests from the government itself, caused by the crisis in the country due to COVID-19. The band announced the decision through a video posted on their official page.
The Costa Rican government, responsible for suspending the show, has nine confirmed cases of coronavirus, in addition to 34 suspected cases as of last weekend. However, the country's president, Carlos Alvarado , and the Ministry of Health decided to cancel not only the show by the legendary band led by Axl Rose , but also events such as parades, regional festivals, and other concerts.
Fans who purchased tickets to see the Guns N' Roses show should keep their tickets, as they will be valid for the new date of the show, still in 2020. The American band is still confirmed to perform at the Lollapalooza festival on April 3rd in São Paulo.
