Guns N' Roses released a new version of the classic "November Rain" featuring a 50-piece orchestra. The track is a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the album Use Your Illusion I (1991).

The new song was conducted by Grammy Christopher Lennertz and mixed by Steven Wilson , who has worked with major artists such as Black Sabbath and Kiss . “The new 2022 version has the same performance as the original, and is faithfully mixed, but with a newly recorded orchestra that replaces the samples used back then,” commented Wilson (via Blabbermouth.Net ).

There are some notable differences in this recent version. With a clearer mix, the piano notes sound different and the flute is softer in the introduction. The build-up to Slash Axl Rose 's vocals, however , were not re-recorded, only given greater prominence.

"November Rain" was written by Rose, who also created the string arrangements on a synthesizer, even before Guns N' Roses was formed. The recording process, however, took place after the band's success.

The albums Use Your Illusion I & II , responsible for reaching the top of the Billboard charts , will also get a deluxe version on November 11th. The tracklist will have a total of 97 songs, 63 of which are new. In addition to being available digitally, they will have several physical versions on CD and Blu-ray . All tracks have undergone quality enhancement processes.
