Guns N' Roses has been touring since 2016

Slash , guitarist for Guns N' Roses , spoke in an interview with Eddie Trunk about whether the band is thinking about releasing something new. "It's been talked about. I think everyone wants to do it, and we'll see what happens. We're busy touring right now."

The band has been touring since April 2016 with the Not In This Lifetime , featuring part of its classic lineup. According to Slash, the original plan for the reunion was for only five shows: “We didn’t have a big, long-term thing [planned]. […] Our basic focus was to do five shows. Everything went so well and fell back into place that we said, ‘Okay, let’s do this test in the United States,’ and everything started flowing from there.”
