Guns N' Roses announced their new drummer via social media this Thursday, the 20th. The chosen one was Isaac Carpenter , 45 years old.
Carpenter is a member of Loaded , bassist Duff McKagan , and joins Guns N' Roses as a replacement for Frank Ferrer , who left the band after 19 years . His resume includes stints with Awolnation Adam Lambert 's live band (via Expresso ) – the current vocalist of Queen .
The announcement of Guns N' Roses' new drummer comes the day after Frank Ferrer's official departure. On social media, the band described the separation as "amicable" and wished the drummer luck in "the next chapter of his musical journey."
