Guns N' Roses releases the previously unreleased track "The General" on digital platforms; listen now

The track is part of the discarded recordings from 'Chinese Democracy'

Last Friday, the 8th, Guns N' Roses finally released the track "The General" on digital platforms, much to the delight of fans.

The track is another song written during the Chinese Democracy Slash and Duff McKagan 's return to Guns N' Roses. Until now, "The General" was only available as a b-side on the vinyl of "Perhaps ," which was released on digital platforms in August.

In a 2007 interview , Sebastian Bach spoke about "The General" for the first time and described it as a sequel to "Estranged" from the album Use Your Illusion I , and said that it is "by far the heaviest metal song I think I've ever heard Axl [ Rose ] do."
