Guns N' Roses paid tribute to Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna , who were killed last Sunday.
During the Super Bowl event, the band led by Axl Rose dedicated "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," a cover of Bob Dylan's , to the player.
Before starting the song, Rose mentioned that she noticed the fog in Los Angeles the day before the accident. Kobe and Gianna died in a helicopter crash in the city, likely due to the bad weather.
The vocalist also said: "I want to dedicate this to Kobe and his daughter and to everyone on that flight... their families and everyone affected by this terrible event."
During Slash in the song, photos of Bryant and his daughter appeared on the screen.
