Guns N' Roses finally included "Hard Skool" in the tour setlist! The band's new song was released last Friday, the 24th , after entering the soundcheck routine at the end of August.
The song was performed live for the first time this Sunday, the 26th, during the group's show in Baltimore, United States. According to records from Setlist.fm , Guns N' Roses presented a double dose of new material, with "Absurd" and "Hard Skool" in sequence, right after "I Wanna Be Your Dog," a cover of The Stooges .
Among other new additions to the setlist, the band performed "Sorry." The song premiered on the band's current tour and hadn't been performed by the group since 2018.
Both tracks mark the band's first new material in 13 years and are recycled versions of demos and discarded songs from the Chinese Democracy (2008) sessions, now worked on with Duff McKagan and Slash back in the studio.
In February 2022, the band will release a physical EP featuring unreleased songs and live versions of tracks in CD, vinyl, and cassette formats.
