Guns N' Roses issued a statement last Wednesday, the 22nd, explaining Axl Rose's , when the vocalist threw the microphone on stage during the show last Saturday , the 18th, at the Huracán Stadium in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The incident occurred at the end of the first song in the setlist, "Welcome to the Jungle," when the vocalist became irritated due to technical problems, and at the end of the song, threw the microphone on stage, kicked the drums, and stormed off.
Now, in a statement on social media , the band explained the technical problem and emphasized that the issue was not the fault of the new drummer, Isaac Carpenter :
“During the opening song of our recent show in Buenos Aires, Axl's in-ear monitor only had the percussion in his ears, instead of the full mix. The problem was resolved by our technician during the third song, and we had a great night. The situation had nothing to do with Isaac Carpenter's playing, which is top-notch and a great drummer.”
Guns N' Roses is already in Brazil for the Because What You Want and What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things tour . The band will be touring Brazil with shows in São Paulo (25), Curitiba (28), Cuiabá (31) and Brasília (November 2). The opening act will be the band Raimundos .
