Nobody expected this: Guns N' Roses ' hit , "Sweet Child O' Mine," will be turned into a children's book and released on September 1st.
Inspired by the lyrics of the classic song, the book, illustrated by Jennifer Zivoin, will tell the story of Maya and Natalie Rose , respectively daughter and niece of Guns N' Roses' manager, Fernando Leibeis , who grew up accompanying the band on tour.
The book is already available for pre-order on Amazon , and is described as follows: “The iconic band Guns N’ Roses gives new meaning to the beloved lyrics of ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ in this vivid and heartfelt book. Follow a child’s wonderful discovery that music is everywhere – from the gentle breeze blowing through the bluest sky to the terrifying impact of thunder and rain.”
