Guns N' Roses Setlist: First show of 2022 features AC/DC cover and rarities

Guns N' Roses setlist for 2022 brought some interesting news. The band kicked off this year's tour last Saturday, the 4th, with their first show since October, and this return to the stage included an AC/DC , rarities, and a tribute to Ukraine, giving a preview of what Brazilian fans can expect from the band's shows here in September .

The show took place in Portugal, the first European country to host Guns N' Roses on their current tour. According to data from Setlist.fm and Ultimate Classic Rock , the band revived some classics that hadn't been performed live in a long time, in addition to continuing with songs already known from the setlist since the reunion with Slash and Duff McKagan .

The first show of the year included “Shadow of Your Love,” from the catalog of the band Hollywood Rose , formed before Guns N' Roses. From the band's own discography, fans were able to hear “You're Crazy,” played for the first time since 1991, and “Reckless Life,” which hadn't appeared in the band's setlists since 1993.

The other new addition to the Guns N' Roses setlist is a cover of "Walk All Over You," from AC/DC's album Highway to Hell (1979), most likely due to the period when Axl Rose took over vocals for Angus Young 's .

The rest of the Guns N' Roses setlist followed the pattern of the Not In This Lifetime… Tour before the pandemic, with “Civil War” dedicated to Ukraine at the Portugal show. The new tracks “Absurd” and “Hard Skool” , the first tracks released by the band since the return of Duff McKagan and Slash , remain on the tour.
