Guns N' Roses classic "Sweet Child O' Mine" remains the band's most popular song since the release of Appetite for Destruction . Even after three decades, the track continues to break records online as well.
The music video had already become the first released in the 1980s to reach one billion views on YouTube. Now, that number of views has also been achieved on Spotify, the leading streaming platform, where the song is the most popular of the band's career.
The album features some of the band's most streamed songs on the platform. "Welcome to The Jungle" currently has over 640 million streams on Spotify and is on track to become the second to reach that mark, following "Paradise City," with over 610 million plays.
Guns N' Roses also achieved an incredible feat with the music video for "November Rain," the first of the 1990s and the group's first to reach one billion views in 2018.
Currently touring the United States, the band released their first new song in 13 years last Friday, the 6th . Although "Absurd" is new to their catalog, the track is a new version of a demo created during the recording of Chinese Democracy .
