Slash and The Conspirators guitarist suffers serious car accident with wife.

Frank Sidoris shared details about the couple's condition on social media.

Frank Sidoris , guitarist for Slash feat. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators , who was on tour with Mammoth WVH , was involved in a serious accident with his wife, Alexandria , last Saturday, October 9th, on his birthday.

The musician used social media to explain what happened and update fans and friends on the couple's condition. According to Sidoris' account, a small pickup truck was attempting to tow an illegally loaded van on the road without proper signaling. The driver suddenly blocked the lane, cutting off the car in which the guitarist and his wife were traveling and causing the accident.

Alexandria, a cancer survivor, suffered a fracture of the L1 vertebra in her lumbar spine and a minor fracture in her right hand. The model has already undergone emergency surgery and will need months of physical therapy for a full recovery.

“It was a truly traumatic experience, but at least we’re alive,” Sidoris wrote. “Considering my wife’s strength and how she’s been an absolute superhero through everything she’s been through, I know she’ll be able to recover in time. I hope the road ahead isn’t long. Thank you to each and every one of you for reaching out and for all the incredible support you’ve given us over the years during the most difficult times of our lives, it means the world to us.”
