Corey Taylor claims that Jim will remain in Slipknot
Stone Sour released an official statement confirming guitarist Jim Root's departure from the band. Vocalist Corey Taylor reassured fans via his personal Twitter account, confirming that Root remains in Slipknot .
"Jim and I are still working together in Slipknot and the new album is almost ready ."
