The vocalist is doing well.
Millie Grimmett, the wife of Grim Reaper frontman Steve Grimmett, posted a photo of the musician on social media yesterday following surgery to amputate his leg due to an infection (photo above).
Millie says her husband is doing well, and writes: “I just received this photo. As you can see, Steve is in good company and spirits.”
Grimmet fell ill last Saturday and played a show in Guayaquil, Ecuador, sitting down. After the show, surgery was performed to try to remove an infection in his leg, but the operation was unsuccessful. The frontman had to have his leg amputated below the knee, and the remaining tour dates were canceled.
