Greta Van Fleet released her new single “The Falling Sky” last Tuesday, the 27th. The song is part of the album Starcatcher , which will be released on July 21st via Lava/Republic Records .
“An unwavering warrior who continues the endless, eternal, and impossible battle for salvation; these were the elements of symbolism associated with this particular track. In essence, our destiny is sealed, like the stars falling from omnipotent heavens onto the earth. This philosophy is realized in the story of a bluesman, at the crossroads of the universe,” guitarist Jake Kiszka The Zane Lowe Show (via Consequence ).
The recent song is marked by a retro style and groove, with raw guitars and captivating vocals from Josh Kiszka . Furthermore, “The Falling Sky” has a live video recorded during the Dreams in Gold in Sacramento in March. The clip can be seen at the end of this article.
Previously, the band released the singles “ Meeting The Master ”, “ Sacred The Thread ” and “ Farewell For Now ”.
