Billie Joe Armstrong , lead singer of Green Day , got annoyed with a fan again during a band performance.
During the show at Luxexpo Open Air in Luxembourg last Monday, the 30th, Billie Joe kicked a fan off the stage after he played "Wonderwall" by Oasis , instead of the band's song "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)".
Green Day closed their shows with the track “Good Riddance” and invited a fan on stage to play guitar during the song. At the show in question, the fan insisted he could play the song, so he and vocalist Billie Joe had a brief conversation. The fan couldn't play, and Armstrong said, “You told me you could play this one!”
Shortly after, the fan began strumming the Oasis classic, and Billie Joe exclaimed, "Oh, fuck!" and snatched the guitar from the fan. Security immediately removed him from the stage while the vocalist joked, "Nice try."
Just last week, Billie Joe Armstrong got angry with a fan during a performance at the Hurricane Festival in Germany. The artist reportedly threatened to "beat up" the fan if he didn't stop shooting at him with a water pistol.
