Green Day invites 10-year-old fan on stage to play guitar; check it out.

Last Saturday, the 6th, Green Day invited a young fan onto the stage to play guitar during a show at the Outside Lands .

At one point during the show, lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong called a 10-year-old boy named Montgomery to join the band on stage. The young boy played a cover of Operation Ivy and seemed quite adept on stage, walking from one side to the other, jumping off the speaker and going all the way to the catwalk.

On their social media, Green Day posted a video of the incident using a clip from a San Francisco Chronicle as the caption. The newspaper described the scene as "one of the most memorable moments" of the three-day festival, which featured Green Day for the first time on Saturday night.

Attraction at Rock In Rio 2022

Green Day has confirmed its appearance in Brazil for Rock In Rio 2022. The band will perform on September 9th, headlining the Palco Mundo stage.

Fans of the punk rock group will also be able to enjoy other acts such as Fall Out Boy , Billy Idol , and Capital Inicial .
