A Burns Brian May guitar is one of the items for sale
Green Day's lead singer, Billie Joe Armstrong, has teamed up with Reverb , a website for selling used musical instruments, for a band "garage sale."
He's selling guitars and amplifiers used in recording his albums and even in live performances, and he's showing everything in a video that you can check out below.
One of the items for sale is an amplifier that was used in the intro to the hit song "American Idiot" and the track "Homecoming," both from the 2004 American Idiot
Billie Joe is also selling the equipment listed below:
- More than 20 pieces of equipment from the JingleTown studio in Oakland, which closed down this year;
- Two Silvertone amplifiers used on the album Uno… Dos… Tré !
- A Burns Brian May guitar used during the American Idiot tour to play Queen's "We Are The Champions";
- Several guitars, including a black Brian Setzer Hot Rod used on the American Idiot
- Console used in the recording of the albums Uno, Dos, Tré and Revolution Radio.
