Music plays in "A Força do Querer"
The song "Iceberg Dances ," the fifth track from Sepultura's recently released album, "Machine Messiah," will be the soundtrack for actress Paolla Oliveira's character in Globo's new 9 PM telenovela, "A Força do Querer," which premiered on the 3rd. The plot is written by Glória Perez.
This is the first time Sepultura has had a song featured in a prime-time television production. Iceberg Dances is the only entirely instrumental track on "Machine Messiah".

The song sets the tone for the world of Jeiza (Paolla Olliveira), a tough policewoman who dreams of becoming an MMA fighter. "A Força do Querer" discusses diversity, tolerance, the difficulties of understanding and accepting what is different, and speaks of the clash between desire and the ethical and moral limits that permeate choices.
Sepultura's music has already been featured in another Globo production, the police series 'Dupla Identidade' (2014), also by Glória Perez, with all compositions written by guitarist Andreas Kisser and recorded by the band members. Also in the audiovisual realm, two tracks from the film 'Lisbela e o Prisioneiro' (2003) belong to Sepultura.
